The 2019 Conference was held in Birmingham. There was a constructed wetland workshop and site visits to Severn Trent Water, Hulland Ward on day one. In the evening, we headed off for dinner and drinks at The Malt Shovel and there was a full day of conference presentations on day two. Dr Fabio Masi of IRIDRA was keynote speaker and presentations were on the multiple benefits of constructed wetlands; treating industrial and agricultural wastewaters, partnerships for delivery, urban and agricultural SuDS systems, wetlands for biomass generation, community water treatment and the health and amenity value of treatment wetlands.
